 Early voting

NEW YORK STATE EARLY VOTING

October 26 - November 3

For the first time, New Yorkers can vote early in the fall election. Early voting allows you to vote in person at a designated Westchester County polling site between Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, November 3.

The early voting ballot will be identical to the one used on the general election day (Tuesday, November 5). If you choose to vote early, you cannot vote again to change your vote.

You do not need to have a reason or excuse to vote early - any registered voter can opt to vote early. The registration deadline for early voting is the same as for the general election: October 11.

Early voting does not change the absentee voting process or eligibility requirements (click here for absentee voting information).

If you vote on the general election day - Tuesday, November 5 - you will still go to your assigned polling site (check Vote411 to find your designated site and see a sample ballot). If you choose to vote early, you can go to any of these specified Westchester County early voting sites during the early voting period. Hours differ by day, so click here for hours and more information from the Westchester County Board of Elections. Information is subject to change so be sure to check these sites closer to the early voting period.
